OnlyFans star Courtney Clenney raked in $3M from site before killing boyfriend: prosecutors

The Florida OnlyFans star accused of killing her boyfriend in April earned more than $3 million from the sex-soaked adult site since 2020, according to prosecutors.

In a filing arguing against a bail package, the Miami State Attorney’s Office said Courtney Clenney cleared a staggering $1,806,003 from the adult site in 2021 and $966,692 in 2020.

Clenney netted another $327,221 through August of this year.

Prosecutor Khalil Quinan asserted in the legal papers that Clenney’s millions make her a flight risk who should remain behind bars pending trial.

He also highlighted that Clenney, 26, wired her father $1,184,000 after she fatally stabbed cryptocurrency trader Christian Obumseli, arguing that she made the transaction to hide her assets as the investigation advanced.

Appearing bloated and haggard in a red prison suit in court Tuesday, Clenney sobbed as prosecutors played the 911 call she made as Obumseli, 27, lay dying.

Miami Det. Yermaine Briceno testified that he initially thought Clenney has killed Obumsli in self-defense, but that fresh evidence changed his assessment.

Prosecutor Khalil Quinan asserted in the legal papers that Clenney’s millions make her a flight risk.

“I learned that Christian was always the one trying to calm the situation down,” Briceno said. “Based on the messages and everything else. He was always the one getting hurt. And the defendant is the one unable to control herself and hurt him.”

Clenney — who used the name Courtney Tailor on OnlyFans — claims that she killed Obumseli in self-defense, and has portrayed him as a violent and threatening stalker.

But prosecutors assert that she was the primary aggressor in the toxic relationship and callously murdered him in a fit of rage.

The detective also briefly mentioned Clenney’s bountiful earnings from her OnlyFans account, telling the court that she had millions in her bank accounts at the time of her arrest.

Quinan’s motion argued that Clenney routinely battered Obumseli over the course of their union, stabbing him in the leg on one occasion and slicing his lip with a blade on another.

Clenney’s attorney, Frank Prieto, attempted to poke holes in the detective’s methods Tuesday, noting that Clenney had called security on Obumseli during a fight in Las Vegas and asked why he hadn’t marked that detail in his notes.

Prieto also questioned several damaging recordings Obumseli made during his frequent fights with Clenney that have been released by prosecutors.

“He knows he is being recorded, right?” he asked the detective. “If you know you’re being recorded you’re going to say what you want to say, right? That person has an advantage to know he’s being recorded, yes?”

Here's everything you need to know about OnlyFans model Courtney Clenney's murder charge

26-year-old OnlyFans model Courtney Clenney is charged with second-degree murder in the April 3, 2022, death of her beau, Christian Obumseli, 28. She has claimed he was attacking her before she plunged a knife into his chest.

Clenney allegedly killed her boyfriend during a blowup in their luxury Miami apartment.

Footage taken after the incident appears to show her dazed and drenched in blood while sitting on the floor in her bra.

Footage taken from the couple’s condo complex elevator shows previous domestic disputes in which the model seemed to be acting as an aggressor and hitting him.

The late boyfriend’s family filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Clenney to cover funeral costs and other expenses as a result of his death.

The model, who has pleaded not guilty, remains jailed without bail awaiting trial, with a status conference set for July.
