I look just like Cristiano Ronaldo — women love me and I belong in the spotlight
Cristiano Ronaldo may have had a shocking breakup with Manchester United, but the soccer star’s British look-alike has still been getting an abundance of offers for work — and romance.
Bewar Abdullah from Birmingham not only gets booked for children’s parties thanks to his likeness to Ronaldo, but he also gets plenty of attention from the ladies.
“Many people approach me and ask for photographs and videos,” Abdullah said. “They shout ‘Ronaldo’ when they see me.”
Abdullah, originally from Kurdistan, moved to the UK in 2019 and has been loving every second of it.
“My life changed. So many people love me here. I feel like I belong in the spotlight,” he said.
He shared that when he goes to watch a Portugal match, the atmosphere shifts in his presence.
“They wait for Ronaldo to score, so I can do the celebratory ‘Siu,’ ” he said.
“Fans think we are like an apple cut in half, because we look so alike.”
The 28-year-old doppelgänger admitted that women beg to go on dates with him.
“I attract many women,” he added.
Thanks to his similarities to Ronaldo, Abdullah has become a viral sensation on TikTok, where he has 1.4 million followers and 8.1 million likes.
In one video, he shows himself holding up a Ronaldo face mask to his own face before moving it aside and revealing how much the two resemble each other.
The video has gained 4.5 million views and 131,400 likes, as of Wednesday morning.
People rushed to the comments, shocked by how much Adbullah looks like Ronaldo.
“No cuz it looks like him, omg,” one person wrote.
“Wow!! Thought you was Ronaldo for a second there! Don’t tell my husband!!” another joked.
“Omg the goat,” a person said.
“I love u Ronaldo,” someone else commented.
Others were quick to point out he’s not the real Portuguese star.
“Just realized he doesn’t have earrings like Ronaldo does,” one person pointed out.
“Ronaldo from Ohio,” someone else wrote. “Ronaldo from the Dollar Store,” another added.
“That’s not Cristiano Ronaldo that’s Christian Ronald,” a user quipped.
Abdullah shared that it is his “dream to meet the real Ronaldo one day.”
Ronaldo, 37, played in the World Cup for Portugal against Switzerland on Tuesday.
After an explosive interview with Piers Morgan where Ronaldo slammed Manchester United and manager Erik ten Hag, the Premier League club announced they mutually agreed for him to leave.
As for Abdullah, he has his bets on Portugal or Brazil winning the World Cup.
