My Trader Joe’s candle burst into flames — here’s what I did wrong

This TikToker just has one burning question: “What the f–k?”

A woman who posts under the name @21savvyyy claims her Trader Joe’s candle burst into flames — and she got burned in the comments for committing some critical errors.

In the 21-second clip, the TikToker shows the small, Christmas-themed candle ablaze on her cabinet among other holiday decorations.

“I smell something burning in my house, and I’m like, ‘What the f–k?’ And I look over here, and this candle is doing this,” she explains in the video, which has sparked 3 million views since she uploaded it last week.

The Post contacted Trader Joe’s for comment.

The TikToker picks up the burning tin with tongs and takes it to the kitchen sink. After she douses it with water, the flames appear to grow bigger.

“We can all agree that my solution for putting out the flame could’ve been better,” she acknowledged in the caption.

Many followers were quick to point out it wasn’t Trader Joe’s fault — she should have trimmed the wick before lighting the candle to avoid the mini-explosion.

“When your wax gets low, don’t light it! Time for a new candle,” someone recommended.

“And never burn it down that low for that long,” another added.

A third sympathized with her, writing: “MINE DID THE SAME THING I NEEDED A FIRE EXTINGUISHER.”

According to the National Candle Association, you should never put a candle out with water.

“Use a candle snuffer to extinguish a candle. It’s the safest way to prevent hot wax from splattering,” the DC-based group advises on its website.
