My 32G boobs reached my stomach — so I had them reduced
A 20-year-old from Scotland is pumped about her jaw-dropping breast reduction surgery, saying she’ll happily walk around her house naked now that a “literal” weight has been lifted from her body.
Phoebe Howie recalled feeling low about herself as a child who wore two bras for extra support for her chest, which grew from a 32F to a 32G on her size 6 frame.
As her back-breaking breasts reached down to her stomach, Howie traveled to Turkey in June 2022 for the life-changing $4,600 procedure after reportedly sitting on a British healthcare waitlist since she was 17.
“Having big boobs just ruined everything,” Howie told Caters News Agency. “All of my friends would wear nice dresses and tops to parties, but I covered up with baggy clothes, jumpers and jackets.”
Although her friends and family were nervous about the international procedure, Howie says the surgery — which took her from a 32G to a 32D — has radically transformed her life.
“My boobs were in plaster when I woke up, and I was too scared to look at them for a couple of days,” she recalled, adding her mood has picked up following recovery.
“I felt so overwhelmed with emotion, and it took a while to process my new body,” she gushed. “I was in shock at how different my boobs looked, but I was so happy with the results.”
Howie says her breasts were “so big, saggy and droopy” that she had a lift as well as a reduction.
“I’d also had my areolas moved up because of how low my boobs were before; they were pretty much pointing down,” she explained, claiming the ordeal was well worth it.
“I’m so much more confident,” she enthused. “I have gone from always wearing about four layers of clothing to cover up, to wanting to wear nothing.”
Howie added that she can’t wait for the summer ahead, as she is looking forward to wearing “cute dresses and tops.”
“I don’t have to go to specialist bra shops and spend $50 on a huge bra that I hate,” she said excitedly.
“I can also run around with my dog, which I was never able to do before. It’s literally taken a huge weight off of my shoulders and body.”
