Ex-Playmate Karen McDougal breaks silence following Trump indictment
Ex-Playboy model Karen McDougal posted her first social media message since former President Donald Trump’s indictment on Wednesday — writing cheekily, “Hope I didn’t miss anything.”
The 52-year-old actress and one-time Playmate shared a photo of herself grinning and flashing a peace sign from a ski resort apparently in Vail, Colorado.
“I’ve been out and about enjoying Gods country… I hope I didn’t miss anything 😊,” she posted.
The subtle quip was a nod to the historic arrest of Trump in Manhattan Tuesday — a case in which she’s believed to be featured prominently.
In the indictment, prosecutors allege that Trump employed “catch and kill” tactics to keep potential sex scandals — including one with McDougal — from coming to light.
McDougal is alleged to have received $150,000 in exchange for her agreement not to speak about a “sexual relationship” she says she had with Trump while he was married, according to prosecutors.
The indictment, which centers on 34 counts of falsifying business records, also alleges that Trump paid $130,000 in hush money to porn star Stormy Daniels and $30,000 to silence a doorman who claimed to have information about the then-property mogul.
McDougal isn’t named in the indictment but is referred to as “Woman 1.”
Her Instagram post on Wednesday also shows her smiling in a pink outfit near the slopes in the idyllic mountain town.
Fans appeared to be largely supportive, writing “YOU ROCK” and gushing that she’s “so gorg.”
In 2018, McDougal told the New Yorker that she’d had an affair with Trump and was paid to stay silent.
In a handwritten note obtained by the magazine, she described having a steak dinner and sex with the real estate mogul for the first time in June 2006.
“We talked for a couple of hours, then it was ‘on!’ — we got naked and had sex,” she wrote.
When they were done, she said, Trump offered her money, to which she replied, “I’m not that kind of girl,” according to the note.
Trump has denied having an affair with her.
