Bullies stomped boy’s face at Brooklyn elementary school: lawsuit

A young boy was brutally beaten by a group of bullies who stomped his face at his Brooklyn school, his mother alleged in a lawsuit.

School employees did nothing to stop the April 29 attack at PS 272 in Canarsie, the victim’s mom, Elvia Torres, claims.

The attackers pushed the boy, whose name wasn’t included in court papers, kicked him in the stomach and smashed their feet into his face at least four times, according to the Brooklyn Supreme Court lawsuit filed against the school, the Department of Education and the city.

The boy’s age and grade were not specified in the litigation, but PS 272 serves pre-kindergarten through fifth grade.

The school’s “negligence and carelessness” allowed the attack to take place, Torres said in court papers, claiming her son suffered permanent injuries.

Torres declined to comment on the lawsuit, which did not specify damages.

The DOE did not reply to requests for comment.
