Prince Harry will sit ‘10 rows back’ from royals at King Charles’ coronation: report

Prince Harry will be distanced from the rest of the royal family at his father’s coronation and will not stick around to shoot the breeze with his relatives, according to a royal associate.

The “Spare” heir will be seated 10 rows behind his family and will make a quick exit at the May 6 coronation of King Charles amid his ongoing estrangement, former royal butler Paul Burrell told the US Sun.

Burrell said it was unlikely the exiled son would reconcile with his father and brother, William, and may not even have time to chat with either, according to the outlet.

“There is no chance of a reconciliation anytime soon, I’m afraid — I think he will get a very icy reception from the Windsors,” he said.

The ex-butler, who served the late Princess Diana, told GB News that Prince Harry is going to the king’s crowning just to “show face.”

“He is coming to put his foot in the door and he is coming because his father wants him to be there,” Burrell said. “His father will be delighted that both his sons will be there to witness this incredible day in his life.”

“But Harry is not going to hang around,” he added.

The coronation festivities will extend over three days, but the Duke of Sussex is only expected to attend the actual crowning ceremony.

The event will be the first time Harry will see his father and brother since the January release of his bombshell memoir, “Spare,” in which he spared no details about the royal family’s reported dirty laundry.

A source previously told the US Sun that the duke was “desperate to come back for the coronation and spend quality time with his family.”

He will be attending the coronation solo. Wife Meghan Markle plans to stay in California with the couple’s two children, Archie and Lilibet, in order to celebrate Archie’s fourth birthday the same day.

Markle has denied rumors that she is skipping the coronation because of letters she and the king exchanged over her concerns of racism within Buckingham Palace.
