Suspect makes getaway on city bus after stabbing man in NYC
A man was stabbed in the buttocks in lower Manhattan Tuesday morning — and one of his suspected attackers used a city bus as her getaway vehicle, cops said.
The incident unfolded just after 11 a.m. on East 6th Street and Avenue A in the East Village, police said.
The victim was stabbed once in the buttocks by an unknown object in front of the club Drom, according to cops.
Police couldn’t immediately say what sparked the violence.
Two suspects were in the wind — a man who ran off in an unknown direction and a woman who made her getaway by jumping on an M14 bus going down Avenue A, cops said.
Photos showed the victim on a stretcher in an ambulance with a large bandage on his head.
He was taken to Bellevue Hospital and was expected to recover.
