This cat is proof that anything is paw-sible.
A woman adopted one of the “world’s most obese cats” and is now showing off his weight loss journey after putting him on a strict diet.
Lea Dallas adopted her pet feline, Bob, from a rescue when he was 36 pounds — more than triple the weight of an average cat.
According to WebMD Pets, domestic cats should weigh about 10 pounds, but average weight can vary based on breed, gender and frame.
Many people on social media joked that Bob looked like Garfield, the large and lazy cartoon orange cat — but Dallas loved him regardless.
“He can take your breath away, especially when he sits on you,” she quipped.
To help Bob work on his body paw-sitivity, Dallas put her pet on a strict low-calorie diet and developed an exercise plan for him.
Bob cut down on the treats and portioned his meals, which helped him lose 14 lbs.
Dallas shares Bob’s progress on TikTok where she has 35,500 followers.
In one video, Dallas shared before and after photos of Bob when he was 32 pounds compared to him at 22 pounds.
“Slow and steady wins the race,” she captioned the TikTok, which has 95,500 views and 10,200 likes.
Another video with 51,600 views shows Bob’s amazing transformation.
“My name is Bob. I used to be a fat boy. My human put me on a diet. Now I is sexy boy,” Dallas joked in the video from the chonky cat’s point of view.
Followers became obsessed with not-so-little Bobby, running to the comments to share their adoration.
“No I’m calling him garfield,” one person joked.
“Fat cats are sexy too,” another said.
“I’ll give anything for bob,” someone declared.
“He was sexy and juicy at the same time,” a user commented.
