James Brolin shocked by naked photo of son Josh on ‘The View’: ‘Oh my God!’
He didn’t love the view.
James Brolin, 82, appeared Wednesday on “The View” to discuss his long career and his role narrating the new season of the Netflix series “Sweet Tooth.”
Things took a turn, however, when producers displayed an enlarged print of a photo his son Josh Brolin, 55, posted Saturday on Instagram sans clothing.
“Oh my God!” the elder Brolin yelled as he turned away from the photo of his nude son.
“You know, you raise them up and turn them loose, and good luck, if they even call you!” the “Traffic” actor laughed.
The Post reached out to Josh Brolin for comment.
Josh’s mother was wildlife activist Jane Cameron Agee. She and James divorced in 1984, and Agee died in 1995.
James married Barbra Streisand, now 81, in 1998.
In the raunchy image, the “Avengers: Endgame” and “The Goonies” star is wearing nothing but a cowboy hat and a handcuff necklace while sitting on a chair on the set of his Amazon Prime series, “Outer Range.”
Brolin is sitting sideways, so his essentials are covered — but, just barely.
“Prepping for a scene for Outer Range Season 2. We are taking things in a different direction now,” he wrote in the caption. “It’s a shifting world and we have to be sensitive to all. Power of example is everything, so examples we are.
“We aren’t supposed to post photos from the show but this isn’t really during the show, but rather lunch outside in the beautiful Santa Fe desert,” the actor continued. “Thank you @brianbowensmith for documenting our most private moments on the set.”
The racy photo has attracted over 152,000 likes.
Chris Hemsworth’s older brother, actor Luke Hemsworth, commented: “Do you know the song ‘Your balls r hangin through the old cane chair?’ Hum a few bars and I’ll see if I can pick it up.’”
“A side of Thanos I thought I’d never see,” another fan remarked, referring to Brolin’s Marvel character.
Brolin has previously posted shirtless and nude photos, but his father likely didn’t have to look at the images on a big screen.
The senior Brolin recoiled from the photo when it was projected behind him on “The View.”
“Leave it to us to show the picture,” co-host Whoopi Goldberg noted with a smile.
