Jets 2023 NFL schedule: Dates, times and opponents for Weeks 1-18

The Jets open up the 2023 season with a brutal stretch of games.

Eight out of the Jets’ first 11 games are against teams that were in the playoffs last year, including the two Super Bowl teams.

The schedule softens in December but the Jets may be in a hole by then.

The schedule, according to sources, features six “national appearance” games for the Jets.

The Aaron Rodgers effect is clear on this schedule.

The Jets have two “Sunday Night Football” games after not appearing in that time slot in the last 11 seasons.

They also have two “Monday Night Football” games, one Thursday Night appearance and will play in the first Black Friday game.

The Jets open the season against the rival Bills on “Monday Night Football,” a potentially great quarterback matchup between Rodgers and Josh Allen.

They then go to Dallas to face the Cowboys in Week 2.

The Jets return home to face the Patriots, a team that has beaten them in 14 straight games.

Week 4 is maybe the best game on the entire NFL Schedule: Chiefs at Jets on “Sunday Night Football.”

Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes have never played each other and this could be a classic.

The Jets get eight games against 2022 playoff teams — the Bills (twice), Cowboys, Chiefs, Eagles, Giants, Chargers and Dolphins — in their first 11 games.

The end of the season has winnable games against the Falcons, Texans and Commanders.
