I live in my car with my pets – there’s no shower or toilet but we save money

She’s a real ruff rider.

A Western Canadian TikToker recently shared that she’s opted to live inside her Tesla Model Y with her cat, Finley, and Samoyed dog, Snow.

Stephanie, known on social media as Little Hippy Gal, rigged the rig to fit a twin bed in its back seat and uses every inch of the electric vehicle for storage of everyday items.

“I’ve actually got lots of space,” she says in a video tour of her nearly 50,000-mile red car, which she calls Roxanne.

“Because we’re in a Tesla, we actually have two trunks, so this is one of them — this one has my doggy blow dryer, my lawn chair, my solar panel, as well as a fold-down kennel, figure skates and a few other miscellaneous items like my winter coat.”

Side door compartments are packed with cleaning supplies and skin care products, while doggie harnesses hang from the passenger seat headrest. Trunk space is used for bigger items like a portable stove, nonperishable food and dog treats.

While the crown jewel of Elon Musk is equipped with many luxurious amenities, the current models still lack both a shower and a toilet.

That’s why Stephanie carries around her handy-dandy “emergency potty jug” — which she omits from her video tours of the mobile home.

While on the road, she has to stop at “leisure centers, gyms, truckstops, friends’ houses, rivers and lakes” to get cleaned up.

Stephanie spends much of her time on camping trips and enjoying the beauty that is the Canadian wilderness. She’s even configured her living space to make fancy teas at ease.

“I love the Tesla because it has climate control … and I can charge [the car] for free a lot of the time. I actually have almost spent $30 in charging over the last three months, which is absolutely amazing.”
