Angel Reese is everywhere.
The 21-year-old Reese starred on LSU’s women’s basketball national championship team, has a spread in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, and now has made a cameo in the music video for “Put It On Da Floor Again” by Latto and Cardi B, which was released early Friday morning.
Reese appears in the video after Cardi B raps, “Put a ribbon on me, I been acting brand new, I ain’t smoking on no za’ lil’ bitch, I’m smoking on you, put your bestie in a pack and now I’m smoking her too, I been balling so damn hard coulda went to LSU.”
At that point in the video, Reese is standing in an aisle at a grocery store, wearing glasses and staring straight ahead.
Reese also makes other brief appearances in the music video.
“I told y’all I wanted to be a video vixen,” Reese tweeted shortly after the music video was released.
Reese’s mother, Angel Webb Reese, expressed gratitude to everyone who helped make the shoot come together.
“So appreciative of our team (NIL manager, business manager, publicist & attorney) it takes all these folks to complete these deals. And not to mention the continued support that LSUwbb coaches & staff have given us,” Reese’s mother tweeted.
Reese has seen her Instagram following grow to over two million, while her NIL deals have skyrocketed since winning the national title.
“I am unapologetically Angel,” Reese said during her SI Swimsuit shoot. “I am a queen. I am confident. I am strong. I am who I am.
“The biggest takeaway I want people to know is you can be girly off the court and still have swag and just be who you are. I mean, I embrace my body and who I am and on the court I can still ball. I am 6’3″, I work out a lot so why not show it? I got a nice little body. When I go to the beach or go to the pool and everybody’s looking, it’s like, ‘damn, you sexy girl.’”
