Gen Z Rep. Maxwell Frost goes on profane rant against Gov. Ron DeSantis on stage at Paramore concert

Florida Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-Fla.) bashed his own state’s Gov. Ron DeSantis in a profanity-laced rant while onstage at a Paramore concert Friday night.

The Gen. Z congressman dropped multiple F-bombs aimed at the GOP presidential candidate over a microphone when he was invited to the stage at the pop punk band’s Washington D.C. concert.

“Do you want to say anything to these beautiful people?” lead singer Hayley Williams asked Frost as she rested her arm around his shoulder, video posted online shows.

“F–k Ron DeSantis! F–k fascism and lead with love!” Frost shouted into the mic, raising his hand into the sky.

The crowd went wild, cheering and shouting in response to his brash message, according to online footage.

Frost, 26, refused to take back the expletives following the show.

“I said what I said,” he wrote on Twitter while retweeting video of his onstage remarks.

The freshman congress member has slammed the Sunshine State governor before. In March, he claimed DeSantis was a fascist for his policies targeting LGBTQ people and other groups during an appearance on CNN.

“We have to call it for what it is,” he said of DeSantis. “He is abusing his power and using the state to target political opponents and political enemies. And there’s a word for that, and it’s fascism, and we have to be honest about it.”

At the concert Friday, Maxwell helped Paramore sing their hit “Misery Business” in an energetic performance Maxwell said he’s been “practicing in the shower for years.”

Last weekend, Williams delivered her own message to DeSantis at a music festival in Atlantic City just days after the governor announced his 2024 run.

“If you vote for Ron DeSantis, you’re f–king dead to me,” she told fans during her performance.
