Prince Harry ‘warned’ King Charles about Lilibet’s birthday gift: report

A present fit for a princess.

King Charles reportedly desired to give his granddaughter, Lilibet Diana, a lavish gift for her second birthday earlier this month.

However, Prince Harry allegedly “warned” his dad, 74, to purchase a “less extravagant” item for the toddler, OK! Magazine reported.

A source told the publication that Charles “had his aides looking at custom-made cubby houses, similar to what the queen and Princess Margaret had when they were girls.”

“He wants to give Lili something she will use and be hers,” the insider went on.

“She’ll remember it forever — it’s going to be the ultimate surprise,” they said, adding that it’s still unclear if Lilibet ever received her grandfather’s gift.

Lilibet — who is seventh in line to the British throne — turned two on June 4 and her mother, Meghan Markle and Harry, 38, threw her an “all-American affair” to celebrate at their Montecito, Calif. home.

Royal expert Jennie Bond dished the details of the bash to OK! Magazine UK on Sunday.

“I would expect to see a sprinkling of celebrities and a laid-back party, which hopefully will include some other toddlers,” she revealed.

“It would be nice to think the day might include a video call to Lilibet’s grandfather, King Charles and hopefully some sort of gift has been arranged and will be delivered to Montecito for her birthday,” she continued.

The royal family, however, didn’t acknowledge the tot’s big day — and the slight had fans fuming.

“That’s f – – ked up!” one angry Twitter user wrote over the apparent snub. “The children are innocent, they don’t have anything to do with the beef among the adults so [the royal family] gotta get off from that high horse and do what’s right!!!”

Markle, 41, and the Duke of Sussex are also parents to son, Archie Harrison — who turned four on May 6.

The event was also the date of Charles’ coronation, with Harry flying into England for a mere 24 hours so he could attend the ceremony.

Harry then raced back to California to make it home in time for Archie’s birthday party.
