Aaron Rodgers keeps NYC tour rolling by attending Tony Awards with CJ Uzomah

Aaron Rodgers has been loving the Big Apple.

In just over a month as a member of the New York Jets, the quarterback hasn’t been shy with taking in all that the city has to offer, including on Sunday night, when he attended the 2023 Tony Awards with Jets tight end C.J. Uzomah.

The future Hall of Famer walked the red carpet with his teammate, sporting a double-breasted tuxedo with a silk satin shirt, while Uzomah went for the classic black tuxedo look.

Rodgers was then seen again during a crowd shot, but this time with a look on his face that got social media buzzing.

“Seat filler,” one Twitter user joked.

Rodgers has been living the big city dream since he was traded to the Jets from Green Bay in April.

Just a day earlier, Rodgers made his way to MetLife Stadium for famous pop artist Ed Sheeran’s sold-out concert, where Rodgers’ rumored girlfriend Mallory Edens was also in attendance.

The four-time NFL MVP also is admittedly a “big fan” of Taylor Swift, and when she came to town on her Eras tour he made sure to make an appearance there as well.

“’Incredible weekend at my new home #metlifestadium with some special friends Miles and @keleighteller, a bunch of new ones, and the legendary @taylorswift who absolutely rocked the house for 3 1/2 hours each night,” Rodgers said in an Instagram post. “Hopefully we can make MetLife that loud this year…”

Along with the Tony’s, Rodgers also caught a Broadway show, seeing “Wicked” alongside Uzomah and quarterbacks Tim Boyle and Chris Streveler.

“He’s a big Broadway guy, doing stuff in the City,” Uzomah said about his new signal-caller.

And of course, he had to support his fellow athletes in the New York area as well.

The quarterback was seen at New York Rangers and New York Knicks games during their playoff runs.

This may be one of Rodgers’ last stops of his spring NYC tour, however, as he plans to kick his preparation for training camp into overdrive.

“I’m going to get back to the West Coast and get with my workout folks out there,” said Rodgers during OTA’s. “I got a Lake Tahoe trip and that’s about it. So, other than that, I’ll just be working out there.”
