You’ve got mail — and don’t forget to read it.

A woman named Madi — who goes by @luvlyymadiii on TikTok — admitted she lost a $104,000 scholarship from one of her top three colleges because she forgot to open the college admission letter.

The student, who did not disclose her last name, revealed the unfortunate news in a TikTok video posted on April 29 that garnered 5.6 million views.

She slyly captioned it: “do you really want to know where i was april 29th?”

In the 18-second clip, Madi was “going through [her] unopened college acceptance letters from October after cleaning out closet,” she wrote on the text overlay.

“Finds out I had $104,000 scholarship from one of my top 3 colleges. I already decided to go to a community college bc I thought uni would be to much debt,” she wrote noting that she reacted with “shock & anger.”

The frustrated TikToker then raised the offer letter from Maryville College, located in Tennessee, to the camera, fuming with disappointment because college decision day was just 24 hours away.

The Post has reached out to Madi for comment about the mishap.

Nearly 700 people commented underneath the viral TikTok video, perplexed how Madi overlooked the lump-sum scholarship offer.

“Why on earth would you not open them!?? 😂,” questioned one person. “Top pick but didn’t open the letter as soon as it arrived??”

“You opened it a day before decision for a reason. Go and get that uni education w/ the scholarship!! It’ll be worth it!” suggested another commenter.

However, Madi’s tale of woe does have a happy ending.

In a two-minute follow-up video posted on May 9, Madi shared the news of unexpected outreach from Maryville College — making her “dreams come true.”

She said she got a call from an 800 number and, despite thinking it was a telemarketer, she decided to answer rather than let it go to voicemail.

“It was the college. They’re going to send me, like, an official word offer letter to my Gmail. So now I’m going to college and I’m just so excited,” she squealed.

Madi was amazed that the Maryville College admissions office saw her viral video and tracked her down.

“Once we discovered Madi’s video on Tik Tok, I reached out her and let her know it was not too late to become a Scot,” said Dr. Alayne Bowman, the college’s vice president for admissions and financial aid, in a statement to The Post.

“Maryville College honored her scholarship and we were thrilled to learn more about Madi and suggested some additional scholarships. Maryville College is intentional about making college affordable for all students, and we knew we could make this dream of hers come true. She visited campus in May and committed on the spot,” Bowman continued.

“We are so excited Madi choose to make Maryville College her home for the next four years.”

After sharing the glorious announcement with followers, Madi addressed haters who scolded her for not opening the college admissions letter.

“I had, like, over 300 letters come in, so it was like impossible for me to open every single one of them because I was still doing a ton of school work and had a job,” she concluded her rant. “I’m going to Maryville.”

The college commented underneath Madi’s TikTok video, saying, “We are so happy!! 🧡❤️” — giving her an early, warm Scots welcome.
