Glorious Renée Fleming on her Kennedy Center honor and wild, globe-hopping tour

Glorious Renée Fleming is one of this year’s Kennedy Center honorees.

“I was blown away. They told me weeks ago, but said I couldn’t say anything.”

“I’m always touring. Concert July Fourth somewhere. Month in Aspen. I’m a World Health Ambassador. Beneficial to health and music, I know creative arts are top of the world. Even if my painter’s redoing my walls, I’m out in hospitals helping, teaching. I take work on the road. No sitting in hotel rooms. I invite scientists to come, suggest.”

“I don’t love air conditioning or loud music. Don’t wear scarves. Sleep and eat well. Dine in moderation. Careful. Take care of the voice. Don’t talk. No shouting over noise. Stay hydrated.”

Her immediate schedule includes Switzerland, Austria, then here to Rochester, Charlotte, Ann Arbor, Denver, Boston, the UK and the Met, “which 40% of my audience has never ever even been to.”

Renee has an anthology coming out.

She’s working with National Geographic for a “Voice of Nature” presentation, plus IMAX to show how parts of the world are reasonably protected through arts.

And don’t phone her because, to save that voice, her ringer is off.

Networking in Hamps

Local cheapo TV has hit Sagaponack. LTV — which means Loan-to-Value — is building it.

Seen there is hissed: Drew Barrymore cutting promos for wherever her talk show talks.

Beyoncé rehearsing maybe her bank account.

Chris Cuomo knocking off his NewsNation thing.

Warner LeRoy’s daughter co-hosts and an idea, plus possibly $15 grabs you a studio for half an hour.

Maybe they got tag sales.

It’s Channel 20.

Only one not on it so far is Ryan Seacrest.

Like your in-laws more than rainy airports? Forget “Murder on the Orient Express,” try trains.

They’re back.

The California Zephyr’s Chicago to San Fran.

Coast Starlight twixt LA and Seattle.

Texas Eagle is Midwest to LA. Rocky Mountaineer’s Utah to Denver via Rockies.

The Cardinal’s New York to someplace I forgot and won’t visit.

Not cheap but sleepers are friendlier than flying.

Plus more daylight sightseeing.

Bawdy of work

D’yan Forest, who’s BS’d with Seinfeld and Gaffigan and grabbed 2023’s Guinness World Record’s title for Oldest Working Female Comedian, does risqué.

She’ll do uncensored stand-up at Gotham Comedy Club on July 31.

That’s her 89th birthday. Question: So how blue and off-color could she be at that stage and age? If she forgets how you do you-know-what she could always call me.

Alec Baldwin.

Table for Dos?

Bryan Cranston hosted a Bloody Mary lunch and personally delivered to tables his Dos Hombres Mezcal.

One startled guest at Matt Rubenstein’s Clubhouse in East Hampton tried to tip him.

Another asked his hand in marriage.

His own 34th wedding anniversary’s July 8 and he’s told me he proposed to the now-wife when both were naked in a bathtub.

Taking off to rest my bones.

Back hopefully when Adam Bullschiff starts sucking his thumb, Kamala tries studying a right-side up migrants map, Biden borrows from Hunter to pay his AARP bill, Hillary rechecks that computer which somehow got out of hand and an MD orders Mayor Eric to be in bed by 8 p.m.

Only in the New York Post again, kids, Monday, July 24.
