Buffalo is hot — and not just for its wings.
In New York state, Buffalo is home to the highest number of people seeking affairs during the summer — and has the ideal locale to engage in extramarital dalliances, according to cheating site Ashley Madison’s 2023 Summer Lovin’ Restaurant Guide.
The lakeside city known for its winter blizzards and sizzling chicken wings had the eighth most number of signups on the “married but dating” network out of all U.S. cities from June to September last year.
As a result, Ashley Madison named a historic Buffalo setting as the best place for adulterers to “turn their covert operations into overt demonstrations.”
The nearly century-old Anchor Bar, “home of the original Buffalo wing,” is a popular tourist destination — making it the perfect place for cheaters to go unnoticed.
“A spot full of tourists is far more discreet than one full of locals,” the guide explains.
Top restaurants and bars for fornicators were selected in the 20 U.S. cities with the highest number of summer signups last year.
Miami took the top spot — and its landmark Cuban restaurant Versailles is the suggested spot for “non-monogamous adventures.”
“The best locations should have private bathrooms, dim lighting, be in an isolated location, should not be family-oriented, and should usually be empty — though many [members] actually prefer a crowded place to blend in,” Ashley Madison spokeswoman Isabella Mise said.
