‘Vanderpump Rules’ stars Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz downsize from house post-divorce

Last summer, “Vanderpump Rules” stars Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz said goodbye to their four-bedroom, five-bathroom house in California following their divorce.

Ever since, both have parted ways and downsized to rental apartments — but remain close by, The Post has learned.

For Maloney, 36, and Schwartz, 40, their former home was the first they had ever purchased — back in 2019 — for $1.92 million.

Occupying more than 3,400 square feet, they ultimately sold the property in August 2022 for $2.45 million.

Located in Valley Village, the residence is located next to their fellow co-stars Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright.

In April, Maloney moved into a Valley Village apartment complex, whose prices run between $2,800 for a one-bedroom and $3,500 for a two-bedroom.

Building amenities include a fitness center, a swimming pool, a hot tub and a club room.

Meanwhile, in September, Schwartz moved into another apartment complex, also in Valley Village, only 3 minutes away by car from Maloney.

His apartment is made up of three bedrooms, three baths — and runs $4,200 per month. Amenities in his luxe building include a hot tub and a fitness center.

Last June, Maloney released a heartfelt statement about leaving her beloved marital house she shared with her ex, along with a photo of her sitting in her emptied living room.

“I hate goodbyes. And this one hurts a lot. The emotions and words are hard to pin down. Closing this chapter on my life feels like attending my own funeral. But I’m very much alive,” Maloney wrote. “Thank you house for being the coziest brightest home, for the memories, for being my sanctuary, for letting me dress you up like a hallmark movie set at Christmas and for being OURS. I’m going to miss coming home.”

Meanwhile, Schwartz took a few months off social media to mourn the relationship.

“Fully respect Katie’s decision and we’ve had healthy, productive conversations about it,” he said after Maloney called for the divorce. “It would be far sadder if she decided to stay with me whilst not happy.”

Maloney and Schwartz originally wed in 2016 in a televised ceremony after five years of dating. The Post has reached out to them for comment.

But allegedly due to lost paperwork, the union wasn’t legally binding. The couple officially and legally tied the knot in 2019, and called it quits in March 2022.

“Vanderpump Rules” alum Jax Taylor believes Schwartz and Maloney would still be married if Tom Sandoval wasn’t in the picture.

“I think he had a lot to do with why they got divorced,” Taylor said during episode 1 of his and his wife’s three-episode show on Peacock’s Watch With. “I would like to think they would still be together if it weren’t for Sandoval.”

He added, “As much as Katie drives me nuts, I see her point.”
