Elon Musk shares steamy photo of ex Amber Heard dressed as Mercy from ‘Overwatch’: ‘It was awesome’
Have Mercy!
Elon Musk asked ex-girlfriend Amber Heard to dress as one of his favorite video game characters while they were together, according to a new book about the Tesla CEO, which he later confirmed — by sharing a steamy photo of her in the get-up Wednesday.
Musk’s new biography — “Elon Musk” by Walter Isaacson — revealed that Heard commissioned an intricate, custom cosplay outfit of Mercy from “Overwatch” after Musk said she reminded him of her.
“[Heard] spent two months designing and commissioning a head-to-toe costume so she could role-play for him,” Isaacson wrote, according to the Daily Mail.
She then modeled the sexy outfit for him, Musk confirmed in response to a tweet about the book passage.
“She did dress up as Mercy. It was awesome,” he posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, which he owns.
The world’s richest man then shared the photo of Heard in the costume with his 156.5 million followers around 2:45 a.m.
Heard is seen gazing downward in Mercy’s iconic white bodysuit, complete with metal wings and a golden headpiece in the sensual snap.
The photo had been viewed more than 5.9 million times by Wednesday evening and received more than 51,000 likes.
Heard has yet to comment publicly about the photo.
The billionaire, 52, and the “Aquaman” actress, 37, were in an on-again-off-again relationship for roughly a year after Heard’s nasty split from Johnny Depp in 2016 before she and Musk split for good in early 2018.
Musk tweeted Heard’s picture just days after it was revealed that his friends and family “hated” the actress.
Musk’s “brother and friends hated [Heard] with a passion that made their distaste for Justine [his first wife] pale,” Isaacson wrote in the book that was published Tuesday, according to excerpts in the Times of London.
“She was just so toxic. A nightmare,” Musk’s brother, Kimba, told the author in the book. “It’s really sad that he falls in love with these people who are really mean to him.”
Musk conceded that the pair’s relationship was often “brutal” but said he’s had a track record of possibly choosing the wrong partners.
“I’m just a fool for love. I am often a fool, but especially for love,” Musk told Isaacson.
Heard, meanwhile, told the biographer that she still loves the SpaceX honcho “very much,” but added he doesn’t always make the best choices.
“Elon loves fire, and sometimes it burns him,” the actress told the biographer, who spent three years shadowing Musk.
Outside of his short-lived relationship with Heard, Musk was married to his first wife, Justine, with whom he shares five children, from 2000 to 2008.
He later married British actress Talulah Riley twice before having three children with musician Grimes and before welcoming employee Shivon Zilis’ twins via IVF.
