If you thought the books were crushed last week, you could’ve guessed that they would probably clap back in Week 3.
FanDuel was crushed in Week 2 on a $20 million field goal parlay, but the house won big in Week 3, leading one bookmaker to gloat about it.
“Best week of NFL so far this season. Jaguars, Ravens, and Cowboys losing took out all of the parlays,” one bookmaker told Ben Fawkes.
The books saw multiple favorites fall on Sunday, although the public darling Dolphins did cover as six-point favorites, which was BetMGM’s highest liability for the weekend.
Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions (-3) were the third-highest liability against the spread, while the Titans +3.5 were the second-highest in liability.
Each of those two lost big, as neither team was close to covering, so the books won big on those, as well.
In total, 80 percent of the money was on the Cowboys -12.5, and many bettors surely assumed a victory for Dallas, which was -700 moneyline throughout the week.
Of course, Joshua Dobbs and the Cardinals would go on to dominate the Cowboys en route to a double-digit victory.
This comes one week after FanDuel Sportsbook offered a $20 million parlay on every team to make a field goal in Week 2.

The odds came in at 200:1, and every team successfully kicked a field goal between the 1 p.m., 4 p.m., and 4:25 p.m. ET windows.
Bettors cashed in huge in Week 2, with FanDuel’s accounting team dealing with a $20 million headache, but they likely made a good chunk of that money back this week.
Many parlay bettors were big losers on Sunday.
