Taylor Swift thought Travis Kelce’s Chiefs game was a ‘fantastic way to spend Sunday’
It was Chiefs game day and Taylor Swift said “Yes.”
The pop megastar, 33, sent the internet into a tailspin Sunday when she supported rumored beau Travis Kelce at Arrowhead Stadium — an invite offered by the Chiefs tight end that Swift couldn’t pass up.
“Travis invited her to the game, and of course she said ‘yes,'” a source told People.
“She just thought it was a fantastic way to spend Sunday.”
The “Lavender Haze” singer took in the Chiefs’ 41-10 thrashing of the Bears in a private suite with Kelce’s mom, Donna.
Fox cameras also caught Swift’s animated celebration when Kelce, 33, recorded his second touchdown of the regular season.
A short while later, the two were seen leaving Arrowhead together.
Although Swift and Kelce were first linked earlier this month, the rumor mill exploded last week when the Pro Bowler’s older brother, Eagles center Jason Kelce, said the buzz surrounding the pop star and his sibling is “100 percent true,” before noting he was joking.
Travis was also asked about the hype surrounding his personal life during an appearance Thursday on “The Pat McAfee Show.”
“It’s hilarious how much traction this thing has got,” Travis said.
The two-time Super Bowl champ then shared how he invited Swift to see him in action at Arrowhead.
“I threw the ball in her court. I told her, ‘I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead [Stadium], you might have to come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead and see which one is a little more lit,” Kelce said.
Kelce initially tried to connect with Swift over the summer when he caught her blockbuster “Eras Tour” in Kansas City.
He wanted to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it but hit a roadblock.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings, so I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” Kelce said on a previous installment of his “New Heights” podcast.
“She doesn’t meet anybody — or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal, but it was an unbelievable show.”
The Chiefs improved to 2-1 on Sunday and will next face the Jets on “Sunday Night Football.”
It remains to be seen if Swift will be in attendance at MetLife Stadium.
