Travis Kelce heard all of the postgame commentary following rumored gal pal Taylor Swift’s appearance at the Chiefs game on Sunday.
When discussing the pop star’s highly publicized outing at Arrowhead Stadium, the Chiefs tight end addressed comments made by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who joked Sunday about feeling the pressure to get Kelce the ball with Swifties watching.
“Pat telling everybody that I never run the route called and getting me the touchdown for all the Swifites watching — thanks Pat,” Kelce quipped on Wednesday’s episode of the “New Heights” podcast, which he co-hosts with his older brother, Eagles center Travis Kelce.
Kelce, 33, scored his second touchdown of the season in the third quarter of the Chiefs’ 41-10 blowout win over the Bears.
Swift, who was watching the game from Kelce’s suite with his mom, Donna, had an animated reaction to his score, exclaiming: “Let’s f–king go!”
Mahomes was later asked about Arrowhead’s special guest following the game, telling Fox Sports’ Erin Andrews: “I felt a little bit of pressure and so I knew I had to get it to Trav.”
The 28-year-old quarterback added how the pass “was on a route Travis, he does his own thing and just makes up a route and I throw it to him.”
“I think he wanted to get in the end zone just as much as all the Swifties wanted him to,” Mahomes said.
Kelce said Wednesday on his podcast that this game will be one he forever remembers.
“Shoutout to Taylor for coming through and watching me rock the stage,” Kelce said.
Although Swift’s appearance at the game sent the dating buzz into overdrive, Kelce said he has a game plan moving forward when it comes to speaking on his private life.
“I want to respect both of our lives,” Kelce said. “She’s not in the media as much as I am doing this show every single week and having fun during the NFL season on other guys’ shows, like the McAfee show and any other show I go on from here on out. Like you said on that Thursday night game, I’m enjoying life and I sure as hell enjoyed this weekend.

“So everything moving forward, I think me talking about sports and saying alright now will have to be kind of where I keep it.”
With the Chiefs set to visit the Jets at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, speculation is already swirling about whether Swift will be in attendance.
Kelce initially tried to connect with Swift over the summer, when he failed to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it during her “Eras Tour” stop in Kansas City.
They were first linked romantically earlier this month.
