Welcome to New York indeed, Taylor Swift.
The pop star will watch Travis Kelce and the Chiefs take on the Jets on Sunday night at MetLife Stadium, according to multiple reports.
Swift sat in a suite this past Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium when the Chiefs beat the Bears, 41-10, in Kansas City.
Kelce, the Chiefs’ tight end, and Swift have made plenty of headlines in the past few weeks as their rumored relationship has gotten into the public eye.
After Swift was seen cheering on Kelce with his mother, Donna, on Sunday, the Chiefs star opened up about Swift’s public appearance on his “New Heights” podcast on Wednesday.
“Shoutout to Taylor for pulling up,” Kelce said on his podcast that he co-hosts with his brother, Eagles center Jason Kelce.
“That was pretty ballsy. I just thought it was awesome that everybody in the suite had nothing but good things to say about her, the friends, and family. She looked amazing, everybody was talking about her in great light, and on top of that the day went perfect for the Chiefs.”
Kelce added how appreciative that she showed up to the blowout win, which turned into a memorable one.
“The slow-motion chest bumps, the high-fives with mom, it was definitely a game I will remember, that’s for damn sure,” Kelce said.
“Then we just slid off in the getaway car at the end… Shoutout to Taylor for coming through and watching me rock the stage.”
During the game, Kelce made his second touchdown grab of the year, which excited the “Style,” who was seen mouthing, “Let’s f–king go!”
After the game, the two were seen, in pictures obtained by TMZ, cozying up at Prime Social in Kansas City while attending a private party.
The two have set the sports and entertainment world ablaze, getting positive reactions from the likes of Bill Belichick but getting some negative feedback from Chris “Mad Dog” Russo.
“And who takes their girlfriend two minutes into a relationship to visit mommy and daddy? Nobody does that!” Russo exclaimed Wednesday on ESPN’s “First Take.”
“Then we have to show them walking out. And that, all of a sudden she’s a big Kansas City Chiefs fan? She’s never heard of Lenny Dawson! Oh my God!”
Either way, the Chiefs (2-1) will look for their third win of the season against the reeling Jets (1-2) with some a “Lover” in the stands.
