The Bills are hoping to get a boost from Playoff Lenny.
Leonard Fournette is signing with the Bills, the free agent running back told Bleacher Report.
Fournette passed his physical and is signing with the team’s practice squad, NFL Media reported.
Fournette, 28, played his first three NFL seasons with the Jaguars, and was with the Bucs for the last three years.
He was a big part of Tampa Bay’s Super Bowl run in the 2020-21 season.
Fournette scored four touchdowns in the postseason, including one in the Super Bowl triumph over the Chiefs.
He also scored two touchdowns in the 2021-22 season’s playoffs.
Last season, Fournette had 668 rushing yards, 523 receiving yards and six total touchdowns.
The Bills have primarily been using James Cook and Latavius Murray as their running backs this season.
Damien Harris has also been in the mix, but was placed on injured reserve earlier this month after sustaining a scary neck injury.
The Bills are 5-3, one game behind the 6-2 Dolphins in the AFC East.
