Matthew Perry looked happy with mystery woman 24 hours before death
Matthew Perry appeared to be in good spirits during his final outing 24 hours before he allegedly drowned at his LA home on Saturday.
Photos obtained by TMZ picture the late “Friends” alum, 54, with an unidentified brunette woman at the Hotel Bel-Air, where the duo grabbed lunch.
The pictures were reportedly taken around 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
Sources told the outlet that the friends sat at the table for over an hour before leaving together.
They added that the “Fools Rush In” star was so engaged in the conversation that he barely touched his drink or food.
The Post has contacted reps for Perry for comment.
Perry was reportedly already dead when his assistant found him unresponsive and submerged in the hot tub at his home on Saturday.
“A bystander had brought the man’s head above the water and gotten him to the edge, then firefighters removed him from the water upon their arrival,” Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson Nicholas Prange told Page Six on Monday.
“A rapid medical assessment, sadly, revealed the man was deceased prior to first responder arrival,” he added.
Perry’s “Friends” co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer addressed Perry’s death in a joint statement Monday.
“We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family,” read their statement, obtained by People. “There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss.”
“In time we will say more, as and when we are able,” the statement continued. “For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world.”
Rumors spread online that Kudrow would adopt Perry’s dog after his death, but that has since been debunked since he did not have a pet.
However, his ex-fiancée Molly Hurwitz has two dogs, including a beloved Goldendoodle named Albie, which is where the confusion could have originated from.
Perry claimed in his 2022 memoir “Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing” that he proposed to Hurwitz at the end of 2020 when he was “high on 1,800 milligrams of hydrocodone” in a Swiss rehab facility.
The pair called it quits in 2021.
