Baby-faced vandals spray-paint swastikas, ‘Hamas’ graffiti on Upper East Side rooftops
The NYPD is searching for four baby-faced vandals accused of spray painting antisemitic graffiti, including multiple swastikas, on the rooftops of four Upper East Side buildings last month.
The four boys defaced the buildings near East 85th Street and 3rd Avenue around 5:20 p.m. on October 9 — just two days after Hamas terrorists launched a deadly surprise attack on Israel, cops said.
Among the offensive scrawlings was the word “Hamas” in addition to several swastikas, according to police.
The group fled eastbound on East 85th Street. No injuries were reported.
The incident is being investigated by the NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force, police said.
Police released surveillance photos of the four young suspects walking on the sidewalk with backpacks.
