Travis Kelce’s ex, Kayla Nicole, fires back at critics of ‘half-naked’ pics with bikini post
Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, refuses to “fit into a box” when it comes to her online content.
The influencer and model — who dated the Chiefs tight end on and off from 2017 to 2022 — recently hit back at one social media user, who chastised the “half naked pics” shared on her page.
“Somebody said, ‘I’m unfollowing you because all you post is half naked pics.’ Let me send you off with a parting gift baby,” Kayla captioned an Instagram video that featured her modeling a sultry green bikini.
“Who knew swimsuits on vacay was so criminalllllllllllll.”
Kayla, 31, stunned in the vibrant Melina & Micah bikini by Melissa Simone.
She was recently in the Cayman Islands, according to a separate Instagram post, which included a carousel of photos showing her wearing a metallic gold swimsuit on the beach.
Elsewhere on social media, Kayla addressed some of her “new” followers in an Instagram Story, explaining she won’t put herself “into a box” to please critics who don’t care for her content.
Kayla’s name was dragged into the news cycle as Kelce’s red-hot romance with Taylor Swift continues to dominate headlines.
In early October, Kayla discussed the “backlash” she endured in a candid letter posted on Instagram.
Later that month, Kayla elaborated on the post and getting caught up in a “media storm.”
“This was just kind of like a media storm if you will and my name was being brought in it every day,” Kayla said while speaking on the Renaissance Woman panel at Advertising Week in New York.
“My comments, my DMs were flooded by it and the narrative, I had no control over at this point.
“As someone who is a host, who wants to interject and wants to speak up, I found myself really just silencing myself, keeping the peace, keeping quiet, trying to make sure that everybody else in this scenario was OK, and I just kind of hit a point where I had to ask myself like, ‘OK, the silence that you’re keeping and keeping the peace for everyone else, but what about the peace within you?’”
That’s when Kayla realized she “had to say something” to “take [her] own power back.”
Kayla and Kelce, 34, dated for five years before calling it quits sometime in 2022.
As for Kelce, the All-Pro NFLer spent the weekend in Argentina, where Swift performed three shows in Buenos Aires to kick off the international leg of her “Eras Tour.”
The couple was seen holding hands while walking through Elena restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel in Buenos Aires on Friday, when Swift, 33, had to cancel her concert due to inclement weather.
Kelce attended Saturday’s show with her father, Scott Swift, and the two seemed friendly while watching the 12-time Grammy winner rock the stage.
After the show, Swift ran off the stage and right into Kelce’s arms as they shared a kiss.
The couple was first linked in September when Swift attended the Chiefs-Bears game at Arrowhead Stadium with his mother, Donna Kelce.
They confirmed the relationship the following month, when they were photographed holding hands on two occasions in New York.
