Woman, 35, dies from injuries consistent of fall from lavish NYC high-rise

A 35-year-old woman died Thursday night soon after being found with injuries consistent with a fall from a luxury Upper East Side high-rise, police said.

The woman was discovered around 6:45 p.m. outside The Brittany, a lavish apartment building on the corner of York Avenue and East 92nd Street, according to the NYPD.

Her injuries were indicative of a fall from an “elevated surface,” police said.

She was rushed to the NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell in critical condition, but later succumbed to her injuries, cops said.

The Brittany, which is just a few blocks from Gracie Mansion, is a ritzy apartment building known for its “incredible, panoramic water views” of the East and Harlem rivers.

A two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit can cost around $7,500, according to StreetEasy.

It is not clear what floor of the 36-story building the woman may have fallen from.

The woman’s plunge comes after a string of suicides from the top of luxury Manhattan buildings.

A 47-year-old man leaped to his death in October from the penthouse of the Gotham Hotel in Midtown.

In July, three elderly men ended their lives in just two days after jumping from separate buildings throughout the city, one of whom plunged from the roof of a luxury Lower Manhattan high-rise.
