WWE star Liv Morgan arrested for marijuana possession in Florida

Gionna Daddio, who performs in the WWE under the name Liv Morgan, was arrested for possession of marijuana following a traffic stop in Florida Thursday night.

Sumter County police stopped Daddio when she drove erratically over the road near The Villages, northwest of Orlando, the Villages-News reported, citing an arrest report.

The outlet added that an odor of marijuana was detected when the officer approached Daddio’s jeep.

The officer then reportedly found a small plastic bag containing marijuana and a vape pen containing an oil-like substance, which was tested and also found to be marijuana.

Daddio was booked into Sumter County jail and released in under three hours after posting a $3,000 bond.

She was charged with marijuana possession (not more than 20 grams), a first-degree misdemeanor, and possession of a synthetic cannabinoid, a third-degree felony, jail records showed.

The charges carry a punishment of up to one year in jail and a maximum fine of $1,000, according to the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws.

Synthetic Cannabinoids are prohibited under WWE’s Substance and Drug Testing policy for its performers.

Daddio’s arrest comes after she hit the red carpet at the DGA Theater Complex in Los Angeles on Dec. 11 to celebrate the premiere of the Zac Efron-led movie, “The Iron Claw.”
