Jalen Hurts flies to Seattle on separate plane due to illness with Eagles status in question

The Eagles have a Jalen Hurts concern as they look to get back on track.

An illness has made the star quarterback questionable for “Monday Night Football” against the Seahawks in Seattle, and even flew on separate plane to avoid getting others sick, according to multiple reports.

Hurts’ status adds more uncertainty to a cloudy injury report for the Eagles.

The Eagles will already be out several key players, including Cam Jurgens, Darius Slay and Zach Cunningham.

The Seahawks also have many noteworthy players who are potentially in doubt for Monday, including starting quarterback Geno Smith, who missed last week’s start against the San Francisco 49ers due to a groin injury.

Smith appears to be a game-time decision.

The Seahawks also have former Jets standout Jamal Adams, standout rookie cornerback Devon Witherspoon and former Pro Bowl linebacker Nick Bellore listed as questionable with varying injuries.

Hurts hasn’t missed a start since Week 17 last season, when he missed two consecutive games after suffering a shoulder sprain, before returning in time for the Eagles’ playoff run, which concluded with a Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Alabama and Oklahoma alum has recorded 3,192 yards passing, 19 touchdowns and 10 interceptions while also accumulating 460 yards rushing and 12 rushing touchdowns.

Heading into Monday, the Eagles are 10-3 and tied with the Dallas Cowboys for first in the NFC East, whom they split the season series with.

The Eagles have lost two straight games.
