The Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift takeover has reached new heights.
The Chiefs tight end and the pop megastar’s whirlwind romance is apparently linked to a surge in searches for baby names, according to TMZ.
A rep for BabyNames.com, which is a source for baby names and trends, said searches for the names “Taylor” and “Travis” are up about 25 percent between November and December.
The site told TMZ that they believe the increase is directly linked to the couple’s relationship, which has dominated sports and pop culture since they were first linked in September.
Although others might be searching for baby names inspired by Kelce and Swift, the real-life lovebirds aren’t there just yet.
The couple has been dating for a few months, and went public with their relationship in October, when they were photographed holding hands while out together in New York City.
Kelce has asked Taylor’s dad, Scott, for his permission for her hand in marriage, according to Page Six, which reported it’s also “very probable” the couple are spending the holiday together.
“Scott has been asked for his blessing and has wholeheartedly given it, and Travis has been talking to friends about a ring,” a source close to Kelce told Page Six.
Kelce previously said on his “New Heights” podcast that he met Scott for the first time when he visited Swift in Argentina for her “Eras Tour” concert in November.
“Taylor is so in love,” a Swift source told Page Six. “She just hasn’t been with a guy who is so excited and proud to be with her in so long. She’d gotten used to having to hide away and lay low whenever she’s been in a relationship.”
The 12-time Grammy winner has attended seven Chiefs games so far this season.
Swift will be in attendance when the Chiefs host the Raiders on Christmas Day, and their home game against the Bengals at Arrowhead Stadium on New Year’s Eve, according to Page Six.
The “Cruel Summer” singer has been spending a lot of time in Kansas City while she’s on a break from her “Eras Tour,” which picks back up in February.
Kelce purchased a $6 million mansion, which features six bedrooms, six baths and spans 17,000 square feet, in October.
Swift spoke about their relationship for the first time in a recent interview with TIME as the publication’s 2023 Person of the Year — her first sit-down interview in nearly four years.
“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” Swift said.
“The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
Swift also shed light on the couple’s relationship timeline.
The 34-year-old singer explained that she and Kelce “started hanging out right after” he revealed on his “New Heights” podcast that he tried to shoot his shot with Swift when he attended her concert in July.
Kelce and Swift were first linked when she attended the Chiefs-Bears game on Sept. 24, and was seen cheering with his mom, Donna Kelce, in a private suite at Arrowhead Stadium.
