Woman killed, man shot 6 times before driving to Queens police station for help
A woman was killed overnight in Queens and a man who was with her was shot six times but survived — and was able to drive to a nearby police station for help.
Shortly before midnight, a black Honda pulled up to the 103rd Precinct stationhouse and a 39-year-old man got out of the car, telling police officers that he and the woman with him had been shot, according to the police.
The 28-year-old passenger, Clarisa Burgos, suffered a single gunshot wound to the head and died on the spot.
The man was shot a half-dozen times in the torso and was taken by EMS to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
An investigation has determined that the man and woman were shot inside their sedan at 127th Street and Liberty Avenue.
Photos taken outside the police station on 91st Avenue showed the black Honda with a bullet hole in the driver’s window.
No arrests have been made so far, and no motive was given for the shooting.
There was also no immediate word on the relationship between the older man and younger woman, who has not been identified.
