10,000-pound trucks shouldn’t be able to fly.
However, at Monster Jam, that’s a fairly regular occurrence.
All stadium shows feature gravity-defying vehicles with nicknames like Grave Digger and Wrecking Machine jumping, back-flipping and speeding in awe-inspiring formations.
And given all the high-flying theatrics, donuts and wheelie-ing that will leave even the most cynical fans slack-jawed, tickets are shockingly cheap.
At the time of publication, our team found some tickets going for as low as $20 before fees on Vivid Seats.
For those based in New York and New Jersey, keep an eye out for Monster Jam coming to a venue near you — they’ll spin into Syracuse (April 6), Albany (April 13-14) and East Rutherford (June 1) these next few months.
In total, nearly 200 Monster Jam events are scheduled to take place this year.

About the trucks
Each monster truck is at minimum 10,000 pounds, 10.5 feet tall, 12.5-feet wide and 17-feet long. All vehicles have a supercharger that drives air and fuel into the engine, which generates 1,500 horsepower; its methanol fuel is consumed at three gallons a minute.
The BKT tires aren’t small either: they’re 66 inches in diameter, 43 inches wide and weigh a whopping 645 pounds each.
The bodies of each truck are constructed with custom-made fiberglass. Amazingly, every single truck is transported to venues in a trailer that can hold up to two trucks, as well as spare parts.
Who’s racing in 2024?
Some of the cleverly named trucks taking the dirt include Maximum Destruction, Megalodon, Mohawk Warrior, El Toro Loco, Black Pearl and more.
Among the world-class competitors behind the wheel are Tyler Menninga, Tom Meents, Lindsey Read, Bryce Kenny and Tristan England.
Pit Party
At select events, you can catch your favorite trucks and drivers up close at the Monster Jam Pit Party. The behind-the-scenes experience gives attendees a look at just how the trucks pull of their intense feats.
If you’re planning on attending, Monster Jam Trackside typically starts one hour before the competition begins. Tickets include a preview of the competition, driver interviews, an overview of the judges zone, a meet-and-greet with the pit crew, opening ceremonies and more.
