The Randy Moss WFAN thought it was getting mocks station’s booking blunder

WFAN’s Randy Moss snafu got a rise out of the Hall of Fame wide receiver.

Boomer Esiason and Gregg Giannotti figured out live during their morning show Tuesday at Super Bowl 2024 that Randy Moss the NBC horse racing analyst was accidentally booked for the show by producer Al Dukes instead of the legendary receiver.

Moss, the longtime Vikings star and current ESPN analyst, was amused by the blunder.

“Some1 GOT MOSSED🤣🤣🤣,” he wrote on X Tuesday evening.

The horse racing analyst Moss also reacted to the mix-up.

“We share the same name, and we’re both damn good looking….but I’ve never thought there was much resemblance,” he wrote on X.

When Giannotti asked Dukes Tuesday what Moss was pitching at Super Bowl 2024, Dukes said, “something having to do with horse racing.”

The light bulb immediately went on for Esiason that Dukes likely made a mistake.

“Are you sure this is the right [Randy Moss], not the other Randy Moss?” Esiason asked.

When Dukes was informed about the other Moss, he said, “please tell me that’s fake,” and then said he was canceling the interview.
