The Chiefs-49ers battle has gone beyond the gridiron and into the TikTok universe.
A pair of Kansas City and San Francisco WAGs beefed on TikTok following the Chiefs’ 25-22 overtime win in Super Bowl 2024 in Las Vegas last Sunday.
The beef ignited when Dacoda Nicole, girlfriend of Chiefs rookie receiver Rashee Rice, posted a video in the trend of the popular “I’m a (fill in the blank), of course (stereotypical action)” videos on social media.
With the caption “Of course we won the superbowl AGAIN,” Nicole and other Chiefs WAGs kept saying: “I’m a Chiefs girlfriend, of course we won the Super Bowl again.”
This video seemingly irked Allahbia Mitchell, the girlfriend of 49ers backup running back Jordan Mason, since the 49ers WAGs had already posted a similar video.
Two weeks prior, after the 49ers punched their ticket to the Super Bowl by besting the Lions in the NFC Championship game, Mitchell released a video with very similar language.
“We’re NFL girlfriends, of course we’re going to the Super Bowl,” Mitchell and others said in a video captioned: “Niners WINNNNNN♥️ GOD IS GREAT.”
In what appears to be a now-deleted remark, Mitchell commented, “Be original,” on Nicole’s post Tuesday, according to Barstool.
Nicole then reportedly replied to Mitchell’s post: “we are original we keep winning.”
That seemingly ended the brief back and forth, which sadly did not include an appearance nor comment from Taylor Swift.
Ultimately, to the victor go the spoils as the Chiefs players and their significant others can continue the party Wednesday with the Super Bowl parade in Kansas City.
Swift, Travis Kelce, Jason Kelce and other Chiefs partied into the early hours of the morning after winning their third title in five years, while the 49ers had their own party in Las Vegas.
Nicole’s beau, Rice, had six catches for 39 yards against the 49ers, and tallied 26 catches for 262 yards and one touchdown in four games this postseason.
