I’m a trailer park mom living on $30K a year — here’s how I feed my family of four for less than $250 a week

Her message is going double-wide.

A self-described “trailer park mom” has become an overnight sensation on social media for a series of relatable videos that show her preparing budget meals for her “low-income family.”

While most mommy bloggers go to great lengths to glam up their lives for the camera, Idaho-based Aeilla has been able to build a sizable audience for the straightforward food content filmed in the kitchen of her humble home, ranking up more than 100,000 followers on TikTok in just two months

“I have two kids,” the 28-year-old told The Post from her $750-a-month trailer. “I don’t have a lot of time to pamper myself and look like a supermodel.”

Aeilla — who is withholding her last name due to sudden interest from zealous fans — lives with her construction worker beau and their two sons, aged 18 months and 5. The family is forced to get by on less than $30,000 a year.

Beef enchiladas with corn 💕 My kids both have averisons to meat. My 18 month old didnt want any of the ground beef so i gave him noodles with nutrional yeast, cheese stick, yogurt, and corn. My 5 year old had noodles with nutrional yeast, pizza and cucumber. #fypシ #dinner #dinnertime #cookwithme #cooktok #cookingtiktok #sahmlife #momsoftiktok #momlife #trailerpark #momlifebelike #pickyeaters

With inflation hitting her low-income clan hard, Aeilla turned to TikTok this past December to try and earn extra money for her family.

She began documenting the meals she makes for her family while sticking to a strict $250-a-week budget.

Very quickly, the mom began amassing followers, many of them desperate to cut costs at the supermarket as food prices surged.

“My meals appeal to people who want things that are very, very easy and don’t have a lot of ingredients,” she dished.

The mom told The Post she shops at Kroger just once a week and has several strategies that help her stay under her allotted $250.

First, she makes a list of everything she needs — and sticks to it.

Second, Aeilla recommends couponing, saying decent discounts can be acquired from the vouchers that end up in her mailbox.

The mom always prioritizes fresh produce over sweet treats, saying she often puts her beloved ice cream sandwiches back on the shelf if she’s gone over budget.

Finally, Aeilla also freezes meat to make it last longer and says she gets inventive with whatever ingredients are left over at the end of the week.

While haters have claimed the mom makes “lazy” food and uses too much salt, an overwhelming majority of viewers say the meals are made with love.

“You are such a wonderful mom and you take care of your babies,” one fan cooed.

“Girl I love your content so much it’s normal everyday life!” a second declared. “Not faked for social media you’re my favorite.”

“Very real and down to earth,” a third cheered. “A normal family.”

Aeilla explained that she has made several thousand dollars in just a few months on the back of her unexpected viral fame.

She makes money via TikTok’s Creativity Program — a beta “rewards program designed to help creators foster their creativity and generate higher revenue potential by posting high-quality, original content.”

Additionally, generous fans have helped buy necessities such as diapers for the low-income mom.

She’s also been approached by multiple baby and food brands to advertise their content to her ever-expanding audience.

With her follower count growing by the day, and her earning potential seemingly unlimited, Aeilla has no plans to glam up and ditch her working-class roots.

“I’m being myself,” she declared. “I guess it’s relatable.”
