Three shot when gunfire erupts outside NYC bar: police sources

An unidentified assailant shot three men standing outside a bar in Harlem during the early morning hours Sunday, sending all three to the hospital with bullet holes in their legs.

The victims —  aged 46, 21, and 39 — were huddled outside Just Lorraine’s Place 2 on Adam Clayton Powell Jr Bouevard at about 4 a.m. when a man wearing a red hat, dark jacket and dark pants walked up and shot into the group, police sources told The Post.

One victim was hit in his left thigh, and a second was struck in his right thigh, sources said.

Both ended up in NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, where they were listed in stable condition.

The third victim, who was shot in the right knee, hobbled away from the scene with the help of two friends, sources said.

But he eventually collapsed near the corner of Lenox Avenue and West 135th Street, and ended up in Mount Sinai Morningside, police said.

None of the injuries are considered life-threatening, sources said.

No arrests have been made, and police said the investigation is ongoing.

On Sunday morning, workers were sweeping up shards of glass from the shattered front doors and cleaning up broken furniture inside.

A neighbor who lives above the bar told The Post that there’s “always a party” at the little venue.

“People getting mad drunk down there,” said Geoff, 52.

“I heard a commotion, sounded like people throwing chairs,” he continued, adding that the gunshots woke him up.

“I heard the sirens after. All the ambulances (and) the cops coming. Whole lot of cops.”

When asked if he was surprised that a shooting happened at the spot, he said he wasn’t — “People are getting wild there,” he said.

“People are crazy drunk, high … all sorts of nonsense going on,” he said. “Doesn’t matter if it’s a bar or a police station. They outta’ control.”
