Olivia Culpo and 49ers WAGs get over Super Bowl 2024 loss on vacation: ‘Give the pain a 10’
They’re leaving the Super Bowl blues behind.
Olivia Culpo and her 49ers fiancé, star running back Christian McCaffrey, recently jetted to Mexico following San Francisco’s crushing Super Bowl 2024 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Feb. 11 in Las Vegas, taking in the Cabo San Lucas sunshine with their Niners family.
Joined by fullback Kyle Juszczyk and his wife, breakout NFL designer Kristin Juszczyk, along with tight end George Kittle and his wife, Claire Kittle, the couples were seen relaxing at the beach in the wake of last Sunday’s heartbreaking end to the 49ers’ season, a 25-22 overtime loss to the Chiefs in the championship contest.
Culpo, 31, addressed the defeat in a TikTok video shared Sunday, posting the message, “If you’re wondering how we’re holding up,” over the clip that featured cameos from Kristin and Claire.
“I would give the pain a 10,” Claire could be seen mouthing before the camera panned back to Kristin and Olivia, who lip-synced, “It hurted really, really, really, really, really, really bad.”
In his first Super Bowl appearance, the 27-year-old McCaffrey had 22 carries for 80 yards against the Chiefs and also scored a touchdown.
Culpo, who announced her engagement to McCaffrey in April 2023, gushed over her future husband in a separate TikTok video following the game.
“Sad because I wish the outcome was different, but ultimately grateful I get the opportunity to watch someone I love do what he loves and pour his heart and soul into becoming better every single day. I’m so proud of you Christian, you deserve the world. Thank you all so much for the love and support this year! It means so much,” she captioned the clip.
Kristin and Claire reflected on the Super Bowl loss in social media posts of their own.
“Every emotion humanly possible was felt on Sunday. We’re still trying to process how we feel to be honest. What we do know though is that in moments of sadness and defeat we are reminded how incredibly lucky we are to have the support system we have,” Kristin posted Wednesday on Instagram.
“… Kyle – you’re Superman. A true definition of a role model. I look up to you every single day. Seeing you wake up with a smile on your face everyday because you get to play football has always been my inspiration to go after my dream. I don’t think the word ‘proud’ or truly any word can fully encapsulates [sic] what it feels like to be your wife and partner in this life. I’ll stand by you always and forever. @49ers will always be the best team in the world in our eyes.”
Claire, who has been married to Kittle, 30, since 2019, offered a similar sentiment in her message, writing in part, “We are thankful, happy, sad, upset, excited, appreciative & disappointed but not discouraged!!! There’s so much to look forward to.”
“This season brought on every emotion one can feel. I found myself more emotional week to week game to game than I have ever been in my life. I think everything just hit me all at once this year… the gratitude, happiness, admiration, joy, love. Just how proud I am of you G,” she wrote Wednesday.
Kittle and Juszczyk, 32, were part of the 49ers’ Super Bowl roster in February 2020, when San Francisco previously fell to the Chiefs.
When commenting on Claire’s message, Kristin — who wed Juszczyk in 2019 — stressed a certain line from her pal’s post.
“Disappointed but not discouraged,” Kristin wrote. “I love you both so much!”
