Powerball winner Edwin Castro takes mystery woman for ride in new Porsche

Powerball winner Edwin Castro was spotted in the fast lane – taking a mystery woman out for a spin in his newly purchased Porsche in LA, photos show.

Castro, who won the historic $2 billion prize, and a blonde woman were spotted Saturday at celebrity favorite Sushi Park, a swanky eatery where meals average $400 a head, The US Sun reported.

His date’s identity is not known.

The duo later jumped into the former mechanic’s green Porsche, a vintage model, one of three that he bought after winning the jackpot in 2022.

Castro chose to take a lump sum of $997.6 million instead of annual payments, according to the California Lottery. After taxes, he walked away with a still-whopping $628.5 million.

But in May 2023, Jose Rivera, 43, claimed that he was the actual winner – and recently told the outlet that he is still on a mission to “prove I’m the true winner” and insisted that “Castro lied.”

The rival has been charged with filing a false police report after claiming that he had been the one to purchase the winning ticket — which he insists was “stolen” by his landlord and eventually ended up in Castro’s hands.

CCTV video shows that Castro bought the ticket at Joe’s Service Center, his lawyer David De Paoli has said.

Rivera, who being represented by a public defender in his criminal case, told The Sun he “can’t afford an attorney right now” because of how “expensive” it is.

Jose Rivera is no longer playing the California State Lottery, saying Saturday that he doesn’t “have a dollar in my pocket.”

He pleaded not guilty at his recent arraignment.
