Will Travis Kelce and girlfriend Taylor Swift be worlds away for much longer now that the pop superstar is touring in Australia?
According to the father of the Chiefs tight end, Ed Kelce, the three-time Super Bowl champ is eager to see Swift abroad as she continues the international leg of her Eras Tour, which resumes Friday with a four-show stint in Sydney.
“Well, look, we spoke after the Super Bowl, and I asked him, are you going to take off for Sydney, and he seemed keen,” Ed told The Sydney Morning Herald in an interview published Tuesday.
“He said he’d really like to see Sydney and Singapore, but he wasn’t sure because he has commitments. He is at a celebrity charity golf outing today, which, I think, is in Las Vegas.”
Kelce wrapped his 11th NFL season in championship fashion earlier this month when the Chiefs topped the 49ers, 25-22, in overtime en route to their third Super Bowl title in five seasons.
The All-Pro tight end, 34, celebrated the victory with his family and Swift on the field at Allegiant Stadium, where the couple sealed the win with a kiss.
“I’ve never been so proud in my life,” Swift said on a hot mic, according to TMZ. “I can’t believe you. How did you do that? How did you do it?”

Swift, 34, touched down in Las Vegas before the big game after traveling from Tokyo, Japan, where she performed four Eras Tour shows in the days prior.
She watched the Super Bowl from a star-studded suite at Allegiant Stadium, with her family joining Kelce’s.
“She loves football so much, and she sets a good example during games. I was so shocked that during the Super Bowl, my buddies and I left some rubbish near us, and when Taylor got up, she stopped and picked it all up and put it in the trash,” Ed recalled to The Sydney Morning Herald.
“I thought that spoke volumes. This is someone with celebrity power like no other, but she comes from a good family and spent time with her mother [Andrea Swift] and her brother [Austin Swift]; they’re good folk.”
Once Swift wraps the Australian leg of her tour, she’ll travel to Singapore, where she has six shows scheduled beginning Saturday, March 2.
Upon wrapping the final performance in Singapore on Saturday, March 9, Swift will be on hiatus until Thursday, May 9, when she’ll kick off a slate of European shows starting in Paris.
Kelce, who has been dating Swift since the summer, has long been speculated to join the 14-time Grammy winner on tour in the offseason.
He traveled to South America in November during the Chiefs’ bye week when she performed in Argentina.
