Russia launches manhunt for Ukrainian OnlyFans model who posed topless in front of Moscow church
A topless Ukrainian OnlyFans model who flashed a camera in front an iconic Moscow cathedral is now on Russia’s “most wanted” list over the the stunt as part of the Kremlin’s renewed crackdown on such antics.
Lolita Bogdanova, 24, had lifted up her shirt during the provocative photo shoot outside St. Basil’s Cathedral in Red Square in 2021, according to The Daily Star.
The racy photos recently resurfaced, reportedly angering Russian officials and prompting them to launch a manhunt for her.
Bogdanova had reportedly signed an agreement to not leave Russia until the matter could be investigated — but images posted on Instagram indicate she may have fled to the US.
The woman, who performs on OnlyFans as Lola Bunny, apologized to anyone who was offended when the photos were originally released, claiming they had not been uploaded by her, according to the article.
Russia’s international manhunt for Bogdanova comes as hardline Kremlin leaders have launched a new wave of charges against “enemies” or deviants of Russia’s new more conservative orthodoxy, while also moving to silence priests who have called for peace in Ukraine.
Meanwhile, OnlyFans has taken an anti-war stance against Russia over its 2022 invasion of Ukraine, pausing accounts of Russian creators in accordance with sanctions imposed on Moscow.
News of the hunt for Bogdanova came days after the highly suspicious death of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s incarcerated political rival, Alexei Navalny.
Navalny’s opposition party, and world leaders including President Joe Biden, say it’s clear that the dissident was murdered by Putin.
“Putin kills whoever he wants, be it an opposition leader or anyone else who seems as the target exactly to him,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said after Navalny’s death was reported by Russia on Friday.
“After the murder of Alexei Navalny, it’s absurd to perceive Putin as a supposedly legitimate head of a Russian state, and he is a thug who maintains power through corruption and violence,” Zelensky said.
The brother of Navalny, Oleg Navalny, was added to Russia’s most wanted list Tuesday, sought by the federal police on an unspecified charge.
