Noteworthy items during the Mets’ spring training practice on Wednesday in Port St. Lucie:
Outta here
Francisco Lindor cleared the right-field fence against Yacksel Rios in live batting practice for the Mets’ first “homer” of the spring.
Lindor also stroked a double against left-hander Danny Young.
Adams family
Bullpen candidate Austin Adams faced Starling Marte, Lindor, Jeff McNeil, Omar Narvaez, Pete Alonso and Harrison Bader without surrendering a hard-hit ball.
Caught my eye
Bader, after hitting a ball to shallow center on a field without defenders, quipped: “I had better catch that.”
