Sharon Osbourne blasts ‘name dropper’ James Corden, ‘nauseating’ Ellen DeGeneres
Sharon Osbourne didn’t hold back her true thoughts on some of Hollywood’s top talk show hosts, including James Corden and Ellen DeGeneres.
The wife of rocker Ozzy Osbourne joined 12 other celebrities on the British reality TV show “Celebrity Big Brother,” where she and longtime pal Louis Walsh exchanged celeb stories.
In a preview clip of Thursday’s episode, the former X-Factor UK hosts had some choice words for a few stars they’ve come to know over the years.
And it’s safe to say that the pair are not too fond of fellow Brit James Corden.
“When my friends talk about people they know or people they’ve met, they always take the mick and say, ‘Well if you drop the names, I’ll pick them up for you,'” said Gary Goldsmith, Kate Middleton’s uncle.
“I’ll tell you who does that, James Corden. He does that all the time,” the former “The Talk” co-host said.
Osbourne, 71, claimed that the former “Late Late Show” host often likes to brag about the designer clothing items he owns, and said he “plays the LA game” very well.
“I go to him, ‘I really like your shoes,’ and he goes, ‘Yeah, Stella McCartney.’ I’m like, I didn’t ask you who made them, I just said I like your shoes. He played the L.A. game really well,” Osbourne shared.
“Kissing all the right people. Anna Wintour, mwah, mwah,” Walsh chimed in, mentioning the Vogue Editor-in-Chief.
“Oh she loves him, loves him. But who loves Anna Wintour? I think she’s the C-word,” Osbourne said.
“Yeah, she is,” Walsh agreed, adding, “And Ellen DeGeneres?”
Osbourne then mimed vomiting at the mention of the former “Ellen Show” host.
It’s no secret that Corden’s reputation has suffered several blows in recent years.
In 2022, the Brit was labeled a “tiny cretin of a man” by NYC restaurant owner Keith McNally who revealed that Corden acted rudely to a member of staff at his Balthazar restaurant.
McNally initially banned Corden from dining there ever again, however, the pair later settled their differences after apologies from both camps.
DeGeneres, for her part, has also had her name come up in unpleasant conversations.
The former talk show host became a flashpoint for controversy ever since allegations of “Ellen” having a “toxic workplace environment” behind the scenes broke in 2020 — contrasting with her affable public image and her catchphrase, “be kind.”
Corden and DeGeneres have since left talk show television.
She hosted the final “Ellen” show in May 2022 while Corden called it quits nearly a year later in April 2023.
