The Jets have had a quiet start to free agency, which was expected. The team was not going to throw around crazy money on big-name free agents early in the process.
General manager Joe Douglas is clearly shopping for value.
This can be a smart approach in free agency, which often looks good in March and terrible in October. Jets fans are very familiar with this.
