Bill Belichick appears to be back on the dating scene.
The former Patriots coach, who mutually parted ways with the team in January after 24 seasons together, was seen having dinner with an unnamed brunette at Contessa Italian restaurant in Boston, according to a photo obtained by Deuxmoi, a pseudonymous Instagram gossip account.
It came after his split from his longtime girlfriend, Linda Holliday — who is the president of Belichick’s foundation — in September 2023.
“Clearly a date,” a tipster, who submitted the photo to the woman-run account, wrote. “Check his smile and her shoes.”
The brunette, whose face was not featured in the photo, wore gold stilettos, while the eight-time Super Bowl winner looked dapper in a navy suit jacket, beige pants and brown dress shoes.
The Major Food Group restaurant features an elegant rooftop with stunning views of the Back Bay neighborhood and the Boston Public Garden.
Belichick has a home in Hingham, which is near Boston on the South Shore of the Massachusetts Bay, worth an estimated $1.9 million, according to Pro Football Network.
He also reportedly owns a compound of six houses in Nantucket worth over $10 million.
Belichick, 71, and Holliday, 61, who were first linked in 2007, have yet to publicly address their split.
Although they were fairly private about their personal lives, Holliday shared rare glimpses into her relationship with Belichick on Instagram — having posted photos of them dancing together, dining in the Hamptons and mingling with NFL greats.
The posts are still featured on her Instagram page.
It’s unclear why exactly the ex-couple called it quits, but a previous report by People said the two “have issues to clear up that come from a long relationship as well as her role in his professional life.”
Belichick and the Patriots mutually parted ways four days after New England’s Week 18 loss to the Jets on Jan. 7, ending a historic 24-year run.
It followed a season of dysfunction for New England, which finished at the bottom of the AFC East with a 4-13 record, the franchise’s worst since 1992.
The Patriots named Jerod Mayo the franchise’s 15th head coach after he served as the linebackers coach under Belichick for the past five seasons.
Mayo played eight seasons for the Patriots and won a Super Bowl with Belichick in 2015.
Belichick had two rounds of interviews with the Falcons before they announced Raheem Morris as their head coach in January.
The future Hall of Fame coach has said he still wants to coach — it’s just a matter of where.
Belichick clearly has more time on his hands after becoming a free agent coach.
He was seen taking in the 2024 Coastal At The Capitol cheer and dance event in National Harbor, Md earlier this month, which took place at the same time as the 2014 NFL Combine.
