We have been talking about Jets general manager Joe Douglas rebuilding the offensive line for months. Last week, he got to work.
Douglas acquired three new starting offensive linemen as he did a makeover on his line. He signed eight-time All-Pro left tackle Tyron Smith to a one-year deal, left guard John Simpson to a two-year deal and traded for right tackle Morgan Moses.
There still could be depth additions to the unit, and I would not rule out Douglas using the No. 10 overall pick on a tackle.
But, as of now, the starting lineup looks like this — Smith at left tackle, Simpson at left guard, Joe Tippmann at center, Alijah Vera-Tucker at right guard and Moses at right tackle.
