‘Yellowstone’ spinoff actor Cole Brings Plenty missing after alleged domestic violence incident
Police in Kansas are attempting to locate “Yellowstone” star Mo Brings Plenty’s nephew Cole Brings Plenty as Cole is a suspect in a domestic violence case.
In a police report of the alleged incident obtained by The Post, the suspect in this case is cited for two offenses: “aggravated domestic battery; choke in rude manner; family member/dating relationship” and “aggravated burglary; dwelling for felony, theft, domestic violence, or sexually motivated crime.”
“Lawrence Police have submitted an affidavit to the District Attorney for the arrest of Cole Brings Plenty after an incident Sunday morning at an apartment in Lawrence,” the police department posted on its Facebook page Tuesday, hours after Mo shared Cole’s missing-person poster on social media.
“This incident involves allegations of domestic violence, which limits the amount of information we can share to protect the victim. No further details will be provided.”
Police added, “Brings Plenty’s family has contacted officers, expressed concern, and reported him as a missing person.”
Cole’s manager added in a statement on Wednesday, “Despite our persistent efforts, we have been unable to establish contact with Cole; his disappearance without informing anyone of his whereabouts is uncharacteristic of Cole and deeply concerning.”
“Regardless of the speculations, concrete evidence that Cole is on the run does not exist, and we urge everyone to refrain from making unfounded claims. We must allow the legal system to determine truth and justice — assigning guilt because someone is missing is not helpful to either party or the due process to which each of us has a right.”
The statement concluded, “As we intensify our search for Cole, we hope that law enforcement — the Lawrence Police Department and surrounding agencies — devotes the same effort and resources to locating a missing person as apprehending a suspect. Cole deserves no less.”
Earlier Tuesday, a missing flyer distributed by Kansas’ and Missouri’s Missing & Unsolved departments claimed Cole was last seen “in the early morning hours” Sunday and “missed an appointment with his agent for a TV show, which is uncharacteristic for him.”
Before police announced they were searching for Cole as a person of interest, the actor’s agent told The Post, “Cole had an audition on an upcoming film project over Zoom scheduled for Monday morning. I had spoken to him Thursday afternoon about the details and he was excited about it. When Cole didn’t show up on Zoom, I reached out to his manager.”
“Yellowstone” star Cole Hauser, 49, also shared info about Bring Plenty’s disappearance on Instagram, adding, “My good friend @mobringsplenty nephew is missing.”
The younger Brings Plenty actor appeared in episodes 7 and 8 of the first season of “Yellowstone” spinoff “1923.”
His other acting credits include the TV series “Into the Wild Frontier” and “The Tall Tales of Jim Bridger.”
Filming for “1923” Season 2 started earlier this year, but it is unclear if Brings Plenty is set to return.
