Taylor Swift reacts to Ryan Gosling’s ‘All Too Well’ spoof on ‘Saturday Night Live’
Hey girl, Ryan Gosling just sang your song.
Taylor Swift reacted to Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt’s cover of her 2012 hit “All Too Well,” which they belted out during “Saturday Night Live” over the weekend.
“‘All Too Well’ (Ryan and Emily’s Version)!!!” Swift penned on her Instagram Story. “Watch me accidentally catch myself singing this version on tour. This monologue is everything.”
Swift, 34, added multiple heart-hand and clapping emojis, too.
Gosling set up his monologue by first saying he didn’t want to discuss his “Barbie” character — but quickly changed his mind.
“You know, when you play a character that hard, that long, just letting go feels like a breakup, and for processing a breakup, there’s really only one thing that can help: the music of the great Taylor Swift,” he said, as he sat by the piano.
Gosling then proceeded to sing: “I shredded Venice Beach it’s true / My clothes were tight / But something about that spandex felt so right / I left my Rollerblades in that big pink house / But I still got that fur coat and I’ll wear that right now.”
“If I said that I was doing fine, you know I’d be lying / ‘Cause I was just Ken, and now I’m just Ryan,” he continued.
Gosling, 43, and Blunt, 41, star together in the new comedy “The Fall Guy.” He sings a part of “All Too Well” in the movie’s trailer.
The pair presented at the 2024 Oscars, teasing each other for their films “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer” competing at the box office over the summer.
While Gosling hosted “SNL” in New York City, Swift was living it up with boyfriend Travis Kelce at Coachella in Indio, California. They were spotted dancing and watching her friend and collaborator, Jack Antonoff, perform with his band, Bleachers.
The couple reportedly stayed at the exclusive, members-only Madison Club in La Quinta to ensure they had privacy during the music festival. Homes in the Madison Club community range from $3 million to $10 million, while a golf membership initiation fee is $250,000, with an annual fee of $70,000.
Swift’s pals Lana Del Rey and Sabrina Carpenter also performed Friday, while rapper Ice Spice — who joined her at the Super Bowl in February — had a set on Saturday.
